Inspiration from my travels around North Africa, India, Jordan, South America, Mexico and Ibiza (Balearic Isles, Spain), reflect the basis from which I have developed my style for interiors. After many years of fascinating travel, I was finally able to settle for a short while and design and build my own inner courtyard home on the shores of the Indian Ocean in Kenya. I had the opportunity to introduce many of these ideas from shapes, colours, natural mediums and moods into spaces that merged form and function from this multitude of exotic destinations. The blending of traditional craftsmanship with natural materials such as stone, wood, iron, woven grasses, and distressed paintwork, mixed with smooth modern finishes and colour is my speciality as is predominantly creating a welcoming, relaxed feel of luxury and warmth.
